Balázs Magyar

Balázs is a Managing Director for M7 Real Estate Hungary.

Prior to joining M7 in May 2016, Balázs worked at Ballymore Eurovea in Slovakia as a Director in Asset and Property Management. He was responsible for managing the Eurovea assets and overseeing all commercial aspects of a prime portfolio.

Before this, Balázs was Head of Asset Management for Hungary at CBRE, managing a portfolio of four retail and two office buildings. As a Commercial Director in Multi Development Ukraine LLC Balázs was responsible for leasing three pipeline projects in the Ukraine.

In 2006, Balázs managed the opening of Arena Plaza in Budapest (GLA 67 000 sq m) as a Regional Retail Director (CEE) in DTZ Czech Republic. Prior to this Balázs worked at GfK in Hungary, where he started as a Head of Retail Department and was promoted to the position of Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, responsible for setting up retail and real estate consultancy in the CEE region.

Balázs started his property experience at ECE Projektmanagement GmbH in Germany as a Property Manager. As well as his native Hungarian, Balázs also speaks fluent English and German.
