Mohanned Abbas

Mohanned Abbas is an experienced Condition Monitoring Engineer currently leading the Electrical Condition Monitoring team at Ma'aden since April 2021, focusing on Thermography, Partial Discharge, and Cathodic Protection Inspection for refinery assets. Prior to this role, Mohanned worked as a Maintenance Planning Engineer at Industrial Cities Development & Operating Company from August 2016 to October 2020, where responsibilities included scheduling preventive maintenance using ERP-CMMS systems. Earlier experience includes positions as a Workshop Engineer at Elsafwa Group, overseeing equipment maintenance and repair from May 2014 to May 2015, and as an Electrical Engineer at ALASAAD STEEL FACTORY in Sudan, supervising electrical technicians and planning preventive maintenance from August 2013 to February 2014. Mohanned also held an electrical engineer position at D10 Engineering Co. in early 2012. An alumnus of Sudan University of Science and Technology, Mohanned earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering between 2006 and 2011.
