Shabbir Mohammed

Shabbir Mohammed is a highly experienced professional in enterprise risk management and IT strategy, currently serving as the Lead of Enterprise Risk Management at Maaden since November 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Marafiq as an Enterprise Risk Management Specialist and as a Specialist in IT Digital Strategy and IT Planning, where Shabbir developed risk management policies and frameworks, prepared digital transformation strategies, and managed IT sourcing and compliance. Prior to Marafiq, Shabbir held multiple positions at GENPACT, including Consultant for ITIL projects, and worked in IT infrastructure at Northern Trust Corporation. Additional experience includes business development at Eircom and academic roles at Griffith College Dublin. Shabbir holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli and several other advanced degrees in management and engineering.
