Dimitris Bairaktaris is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Project Engineer R&D at Maan Group since November 2020, Dimitris has previously held positions as a Mechanical Engineer at Wepro Ingenieursbureau and Project Engineer at Wouter Witzel, both from November 2019 to November 2020. Prior to that, work experience included a Sales Engineer role at Wiefferink B.V. from October 2015 to October 2019 and an internship in the wood-fired CHP department at HoSt BV, focusing on financial feasibility modeling for projects. Early career roles included Assistant Project Manager positions at NIASA Construction Company and Tyrnavos quarry S.A., contributing to construction activities for dam projects in 2012. Dimitris holds a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Energy Technologies, specializing in Biomass, from the University of Twente, and a Bachelor's degree from the Technical University of Crete.
