Wouter van Elmpt

Prof. dr. ir. Wouter van Elmpt is a professor at Tilburg University, holding an endowed chair focused on the implementation of AI in healthcare organizations within the Tilburg School of Economics and Management. They are also the program manager at Maastro, where they coordinate multidisciplinary innovation projects in healthcare, particularly in advancing radiotherapy techniques. Previously, Wouter served as a senior scientist at Maastro and conducted post-doctoral research at Maastricht University, contributing to significant advancements in medical physics and AI integration in clinical workflows. Wouter holds a Master's degree in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology and a PhD in Medical Physics in Radiation Oncology from Maastricht University.
