Emmanuel Prestat

Emmanuel Prestat has a strong background in research and data analysis, with experience spanning both academia and industry. Emmanuel started their career as a PhD student at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, where they conducted research from January 2006 to May 2009. After completing their PhD, Emmanuel worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Ecole Centrale de Lyon from June 2009 to September 2011, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from October 2011 to October 2013, and Aix-Marseille University from November 2013 to December 2013. From there, they moved into industry and joined QIAGEN as a Senior Manager of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics from January 2014 to March 2015. Emmanuel then transitioned to HalioDx, where they held various positions including Senior Manager of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from March 2015 to February 2017, and Associate Director of R&D for Digital Pathology Solutions from March 2017 to July 2019. Emmanuel is currently working at MaaT Pharma as a Manager of Computational Biology, a position they have held since August 2019. Additionally, Emmanuel recently took on the role of Principal Data Scientist at MaaT Pharma starting in November 2021. Emmanuel Prestat's education history begins in 1995 when they attended Lycée de Vienne, Saint-Romain-en-Gal and obtained their Baccalauréat degree in Sciences in 1998. Emmanuel then pursued further studies and in 2006, they enrolled at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioinformatics, completing it in 2009. Following this, Emmanuel went on to work as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Bioinformatics at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from 2011 to 2013.
