Pmp® Sekou Soumahoro

Sekou Soumahoro, PMP®, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the construction industry. Sekou started their career as an Engineer in Training at The Arab Contractors in 2011 and 2012, gaining valuable experience in site engineering and training. In 2012, they also worked as an Engineer in Training at VINCI.

From 2014 to 2017, Sekou worked at Ahmadiah Contracting & Tr. Co. as a Civil Engineer. During this time, they managed the construction of Al Kout mall and coordinated finishing trade subcontracts. Sekou also played a key role in the construction, completion, and maintenance of public buildings in Jaber Al Ahmed City.

In 2017, Sekou joined Mabanee Company (K.P.S.C) as a Technical Engineer and later became the Senior Technical Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for ensuring compliance with company standards for internal decoration and monitoring installation stages. Sekou also supported the Leasing Department in developing investor relations and handling design and construction requirements.

These include the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2023, the Generative AI Overview for Project Managers from the same institution in September 2023, and the Getting Started in Construction Management course from LinkedIn in September 2023. Sekou also holds the Professional Civil Engineer certification from the Kuwait Society of Engineers, obtained in December 2014. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in areas such as Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Project Management Skills for Leaders, Fundamentals of Agile Project Management, Fundamentals of Predictive Project Management, and Project Management Simplified from various institutions. Additionally, they completed courses on Basic English and Becoming Career Smart to develop their language and professional skills.
