Sanja Zlatanovic

Sanja Zlatanovic, Eng., Ph.D. is a seasoned professional in water treatment and environmental science, currently serving as a Process Engineer and Water Treatment Specialist at Mabarex since October 2018. Previous experience includes roles as an Environmental Scientist at BTU Cottbus - Senftenberg, where Sanja conducted extensive research on microbial carbon transformation and coordinated fieldwork to assess water and sediment properties. Additionally, Sanja worked as a Research Engineer at the Institute for the Development of Water Resources "Jaroslav Cerni," focusing on river water management plans and groundwater quality assessments. Early career experience includes an internship as a Project Engineer in the food industry, analyzing wastewater treatment processes. Sanja holds an Engineer’s Degree in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Belgrade and has published multiple scientific articles, while currently pursuing further education in wastewater treatment modeling.
