GM, People, Quality & Culture at Macarthur Disability Services

Amanda Mesa has been working in the human resources and disability services industries for over 15 years. Amanda is currently the GM of People, Quality & Culture at Macarthur Disability Services, a position they have held since January 2011. Prior to that, they were the HR and Quality Assurance Manager at Macarthur Disability Services from January 2007 to January 2011. Amanda has also worked as an Employment Consultant / Vocational Trainer at Macarthur Personnel from August 2000 to September 2007. In this role, they supported people with disability and other barriers to work into employment. Amanda Mesa is a highly experienced and qualified professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those with disability.

Amanda Mesa has completed a Foundations of Directorship Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an Accredited telephone counsellor course from Lifeline, a Workforce Planning course from Response Employment and Training, a Mentoring and effective communication course from TAFE NSW, an Advanced RTW Coordinator course from Courtenell, a Diploma in Front Line Management from Equalis, a Health and Safety Committee from Courtenell, an Advanced Internal Auditor course from BSI Certification, and a Diploma of Business (Human Resources) from OTEN. Amanda has also completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of NSW. Furthermore, they have received certification from LinkedIn in Human Resources: Using Metrics to Drive HR Strategy.

Their manager is Jeff Scobie, CEO. They are on a team with Brenda Odewahn - COO, Caitlin Pearson - GM, Marketing & Engagement, and Alan Argall - Financial Controller.
