Joe Rumph

Joe Rumph, CFA, currently serves as the Managing Director of Fixed Income and Alpha Strategies at the MacArthur Foundation, a position held since December 2013, overseeing hedge funds, private credit, and special situations. Previously, Joe worked at Alyeska Investment Group, where roles included Manager of Absolute Return and Fixed Income and Senior Analyst, following a Summer Analyst position focused on volatility arbitrage and long/short strategies. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate Director of Investments at The Kresge Foundation, managing diverse asset classes and derivatives. Joe holds an MBA in Analytic Finance, Accounting, and Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Michigan.
