Koos van der Zee

Koos van der Zee has extensive work experience in various roles related to project management and engineering. Koos is currently working as the Head of Project Management at MacArtney Underwater Technology Group since 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Projects - Wind Power at BILA A/S from 2020 to 2021. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as the Head of R&D at Frontmatec, leading a team responsible for developing future technologies. Before that, they held multiple positions at LM Wind Power, including Sr. Project Manager, Sr. Manager Global Equipment Engineering, Senior Manager Transport Technology, Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineer. Their responsibilities in these roles included leading teams, implementing automation projects, developing manufacturing technologies, and optimizing logistic solutions. Koos also has experience as a General/Business Manager at BHCC (FCO, New Delhi) and as a Development Engineer at Hook & Tucker Zenyx. Koos started their career as a Design Engineer at Kiestra Lab Automation.

Koos van der Zee holds a Master's degree in Management from Durham University, which they pursued from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from NHL Hogeschool between 1996 and 2000. In addition to their formal education, Koos obtained certification as a Certified Supply Chain Professional from APICS in June 2015.
