Thomas van Bilsen is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data architecture, engineering, and analytics. Currently serving as Technical Service Lead at Macaw since 2020, Thomas oversees a team of data professionals within the Data Solutions and Insights service line. Prior roles include Solutions Architect for the Evides Data Platform, Lead Data Engineer at Athora Netherlands, and Business Intelligence Consultant for several organizations including Axians NL and PGGM. Thomas has a strong background in designing and implementing data solutions across various industries, utilizing advanced technologies such as Microsoft BI Stack, Azure Cloud, and Hadoop. A graduate of Avans University of Applied Sciences with a Bachelor of Science in IT, Thomas has consistently contributed to innovative data platform developments and architecture throughout a career marked by significant accomplishments in optimizing data management and analytics.
