Account Executive Team Lead at MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions

Alison Hewa has a diverse work history spanning multiple industries. Alison started their career in 2004 as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach and Adjunct Professor at North Idaho College. Alison then moved on to become an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at the University of Idaho from 2006 to 2008. After that, Alison worked as a Women's Basketball Coach at Eastern Washington University for five years, where they achieved significant success with one conference championship and two WNIT births.

In 2013, Alison transitioned into a new field as a Regional Sales Manager at Momentum Ink, Screen printing, and design. During their time there, they successfully recruited clients in new territories and markets, doubling the company's growth. Alison also built a strong network of coaches, school administrators, and business owners to develop marketing and branding strategies, as well as budget guidelines. Alison also played a key role in establishing the company's social media presence.

Alison's next career move was in 2015 when they joined Portland State University as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach. In this role, they served as the Recruiting Coordinator, where they strategically developed and implemented a four-season recruiting plan. Alison organized on-campus visits for recruits and parents and provided the recruitment plan to staff and student athletes.

Currently, Alison is working at MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions, starting in 2017 as an Account Manager. Alison specializes in mechanical contracting consulting, focusing on chillers, boilers, control systems, and connected buildings. As an Account Manager, they handle 125 accounts and is responsible for business development in Downtown Portland, Hillsboro, and Beaverton. Alison has since been promoted to Senior Account Executive and most recently, they have taken on the role of Account Executive Team Lead.

Alison Hewa's education history begins in 1998, when they enrolled at Eastern Washington University. Alison pursued a degree in Community Health and completed their studies in 2002. Four years later, in 2002, Alison returned to Eastern Washington University to pursue a Master's degree in Athletic Administration. Alison specialized in Physical Education and Sports Psychology and completed their studies in 2004.
