David Almond

David Almond has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the information technology field. David has recently served as the Associate VP of Information Services and CIO at MacEwan University. Prior to this, they were the Executive Director of Information Technology at Alberta Innovates, where they focused on transforming IT into a strategic partner for the organization. David also worked as a Senior Associate at CORTAC Group, providing management consulting services to a Fortune 100 technology company. Earlier in their career, David held positions such as Client Executive at Guidepost Solutions, Administrator at the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, Chief Information Officer at the Oregon Department of Revenue, and Director of Application Hosting at Honeywell. Throughout their career, they have been involved in driving transformational change, introducing Lean Six Sigma practices, and implementing innovative technology solutions.

David Almond has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Alberta. David also holds an MBA from the same university, with a specialization in Finance and Computer Science. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including The Neuroscience of Learning, Critical Thinking, Executive Leadership, Learning from Failure, and Strategic Thinking, from LinkedIn in 2018.
