Jason Cobb

Jason Cobb currently serves as the Chief of Staff & Strategic Initiatives at MacEwan University since February 2023. With a robust background in communications and fundraising, Jason has worked as a Principal Consultant at Brown Paper Bag Communications since 1998, providing freelance marketing strategy for diverse clients. Previously, Jason held positions at the University of Alberta in various advancement roles, including Associate Director of Advancement for the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, where successful fundraising strategies were consistently implemented. Additional experience encompasses senior communications roles within the Government of Alberta and leading communications strategies at prominent educational institutions. Jason holds a BA in English and Film Studies from the University of Alberta and an MA in English from Concordia University.
