Joy Stein

Joy Stein is an accomplished professional in event management with extensive experience at MacEwan University, currently serving as a Supervisor since February 2015. In this role, Joy supports a team of three planners, ensures smooth departmental operations, and manages a portfolio of events. Additionally, as an Event Consultant, Joy collaborates with clients to meet their event and space rental needs while implementing new technology to improve departmental efficiency. Previously, Joy owned and operated Simplify Sustainable Living, a community-focused business that promotes zero-waste solutions and successfully diverted over 2,000 pounds of textiles from landfills through a recycling partnership. Joy holds a Diploma in Event & Promotions Management from the Centre for Arts and Technology Kelowna.
