Sally Banek

Sally Banek has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Sally is currently serving as the Associate Vice President Financial Services at MacEwan University, where they lead teams managing reporting, budgeting, financial services, administration, and contracts & procurement. Prior to this, Sally worked as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Finance at Connecting Care (2000) Inc., where they played a crucial role in developing senior communities and providing care to senior citizens. Sally also served as the Director of Finance at Vallen, overseeing financial information integrity and offering support to Vallen's management. Sally has a background in recruitment, having worked as a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Recruitment Partners Inc. and The Headhunters. Sally also held various roles at Finning International, including Global Manager for Enterprise Processes, Global Finance Lead for ERP Implementation, Director of Planning & Forecasting, and Controller. Earlier in their career, Sally worked as a Controller at Design Group Staffing LTD, Nabors Industries, and Labatt Breweries of Canada, where they held various senior finance roles and participated in M&A activities in Latin America and the Caribbean.
