Brendan Cooney

Brendan Cooney currently serves as General Counsel at Mach Industries, specializing in government contracting since June 2024. Prior to this role, Brendan held various legal positions at Palantir Technologies from September 2011 to June 2024, including Data Protection Officer, Legal Counsel, and Head of Compliance, focusing on data privacy, internal investigations, and cybersecurity. Brendan began a legal career as an Associate at O'Melveny & Myers LLP from October 2008 to September 2011, having previously interned as a Summer Associate at both Latham & Watkins and O'Melveny & Myers LLP in 2006 and 2007. Brendan holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Harvard Law School and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law and Legal Studies from the University of Cambridge.
