Max Balasubramaniam

Max Balasubramaniam is a skilled engineer currently serving as Vehicle Lead at Mach Industries since May 2024. Previously, Max held various key positions at CU Hyperloop, including Chief Engineer and Project Manager, where notable achievements included winning the Innovation Award at the 2024 Not-A-Boring Competition and leading a team to develop a micro tunneling boring machine. Max also worked as an Excavation Team Lead and Networking and Graphical User Interface Engineer, contributing to multiple successful projects in tunneling technology. Additional experience includes a role as a Laboratory Assistant at CU Boulder Aerospace Electronics Lab and a Mechanical Engineering Internship with The Boring Company. Max holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Colorado Boulder.
