Alex Lopes

Alex Lopes has an extensive background in the banking and finance sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Machias Savings Bank since April 2025. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at Bangor Savings Bank from July 2012 to April 2025, where positions ranged from VP, Senior Commercial Relationship Manager to AVP, Senior Portfolio Manager. Alex also held the role of Mortgage Underwriter at TD Bank Group for a brief period and served in multiple capacities, including Branch Manager, at KeyBank and American General Finance. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and minors in Psychology and Sociology from Bryant University, completed between 1999 and 2003.
