Matthew Walsh, CPA, serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Machias Savings Bank since July 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing all investment and financial affairs, alongside the Bank’s Community Development Foundation. Previously, Matthew held several roles at University Credit Union in Maine from 1997 to 2019, culminating in the position of President and CEO, after progressing from Vice President of Controller to CFO. Matthew began a career in finance as a Staff Auditor at Berry Dunn McNeil & Parker, a leading accounting firm, from 1994 to 1997. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Husson University and an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Maine.
