Rutherford Wilson has a long and varied work experience. Rutherford started their career in 1993 as a Senior Project Manager and Regional Manager at CH2M HILL, where they initiated the creation of a firm wide IS group focused on web applications. In 2000, they moved to Buy and Hold Securities as a Senior Software Development Manager, where they reported to the CTO and worked with executive management to develop strategic business opportunities. In 2002, they joined Novartis as a Senior Manager, where they managed the development of their enterprise clinical trial system (EDC). In 2005, they moved to ISO New England as a Technical Consultant, and in 2006 they joined MassMutual as a Director, where they oversaw the implementation of several software projects and managed staff in the Retirement Services division. In 2007, they joined Atalasoft from Lexmark as VP of Product Management, where they identified new strategic opportunities to expand the product footprint. In 2009, they founded Vizit, Inc, where they were the Chief Technology Officer and created the Vizit product, defined the technology architecture and stack, and managed product development with internal and outsource teams. In 2012, they joined Amazon as a Senior Product Manager for Global KYC and Manager for Technical Program Management- Finance/Compliance. In 2019, they moved to Trulioo as VP of Product and Director of Growth, and in 2022 they joined MachineMetrics as Chief Product Officer.

Rutherford Wilson attended the French American International School in San Francisco, CA prior to graduating from San Francisco University High School in 1986. Rutherford then obtained a BA in Political Science and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley from 1986 to 1990. In 2004, they completed an MBA in Management from NYU Stern School of Business.
