David Blair

David Blair is the current Chief Technology Officer at Machinery Partner. Prior to this, they were the Founder and Advisor of OurPlaybook.ai from August 2021 to October 2021. David developed an online sports marketplace for college athletes to get sponsorship opportunities who can now get paid for their Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) rule changes by the NCAA.

From June 2018 to August 2021, David Blair was the Chief Technology Officer at Andela. David was responsible for driving the technology platform driving Andela's software developer marketplace. Andela is a rapid growth startup that scales high-performing distributed engineering teams with Africa's most talented software developers. The company is backed by Spark Capital, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI), and Google Ventures.

From January 2018 to July 2019, David Blair was a Mentor and Advisor at Techstars. David helped TechStars companies with product formulation, engineering, go-to-market, pitch presentation, and fundraising. David has worked closely with exciting startups like: OffGridBox (solar/water infrastructure), Securicy (compliance software), Acquisitionly (lead acquisition automation), Sophia (therapist marketplace), Kapsul (room comfort consumer products), and Fincura (fintech automation).

David Blair's educational career includes a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and study in Oceanography, Nautical Science, and Marine Engineering from the Sea Education Association | SEA Semester.
