VP Of Engineering

Machinify is the leading provider of AI-powered software products that transform healthcare claims and payment operations. Each year, the healthcare industry generates over $200B in claims mispayments, creating incredible waste, friction and frustration for all participants: patients, providers, and especially payers. Machinify’s revolutionary AI-platform has enabled the company to develop and deploy, at light speed, industry-specific products that increase the speed and accuracy of claims processing by orders of magnitude.

Machinify is seeking a VP of Engineering. In this role you will be responsible for leading the engineering teams at Machinify at a pivotal stage of our growth. Working closely with the CEO, you will translate business goals into technical strategies, while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and speed.

What you will do:

Leadership:

• Help us shape and scale a first-class engineering culture that attracts top talent
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team that shares the company’s values and vision

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with product management to prioritize and deliver features that meet customer needs and market demands
• Develop, plan and execute engineering strategies aligned with the company's vision and business objectives

Technical Oversight:

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable and high-performance products
• Dive into the codebase and architecture when needed, providing technical guidance and support to the team and ensuring best practices are followed
• Drive the scaling of our technology stack, infrastructure, and processes to support rapid growth while maintaining agility and product quality

Collaboration and Communication:

• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to drive cross functional collaboration
• Communicate technical concepts and strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively

What you bring:

• You have 12+ years of engineering experience and a proven track record of scaling engineering teams and delivering complex, high-impact products from concept to deployment
• You have a deep understanding of software development, architecture, and scaling technologies
• You bring exceptional leadership and team management abilities, and enjoy building and leading high-performing teams in high-growth environments
• You are hands-on in coding and technical problem-solving
• You are passionate for innovation and have a curious mind committed to continuous learning
