Sashwat Shrestha has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sashwat began their career as an Intern Credit Debit Analyst at Himalayan Bank Limited, where they analyzed foreign currency and observed its impact on the economy. Sashwat then interned as a Brand Marketing Intern at Urban Ladder, where they analyzed sales calls and developed better hooks and pitches for the sales team.

Sashwat later worked as an Intern Business Development at Tigerland Safari Resort, where they analyzed business strategies and created SWOT analyses to identify growth opportunities in the wildlife tourism industry. Sashwat also gained experience as a Student Consultant at Yelp, leading a team to devise solutions for internal and external challenges faced by the company.

Sashwat joined Uber and held multiple positions, including Enterprise & Strategic Onboarding and Project Manager for Specialized Wave Onboarding. In these roles, they managed the onboarding process for numerous restaurant partners, analyzed partnership data, and reported key metrics to stakeholders.

Before joining their current role as a Product Manager at Machnet, Sashwat served as a Business Development Associate, generating key client analyses and assisting in the migration towards a new internal system. Sashwat Shrestha completed their high school education from Woodstock School between 2008 and 2014, earning a High School degree with a field of study in Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Sashwat then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a specialization in Finance at Hult International Business School from 2014 to 2018.

Additionally, Sashwat has obtained several certifications in various subjects. In July 2019, they completed the course "What is Data Science?" from Coursera. Later, in August 2018, they received the "Excel for Mac 2016 Essential Training" certification from LinkedIn. In July 2018, they also completed the "SQL Essential Training" certification from LinkedIn. Most recently, in December 2021, they completed the "Certificate of completion - Introduction to Excel" course from 365 Data Science, followed by the "Certificate of completion - Statistics" course in January 2022, also from 365 Data Science.
