Karen Cusmano

Karen Cusmano serves as senior vice president of asset management. In this role, she manages multiple facets of property and asset management and budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting, as well as collaborates with the Investments department on projections, property acquisitions and sales due diligence.

On the property and asset management side, Karen oversees the annual property budgets process for the office portfolio, and monitors the portfolio performance throughout the year, recommending action steps as needed. She further integrates property operations decisions with leasing and accounting to develop the tenant recovery charges and related annual settle-ups.

Along with her asset and property management role, Karen applies her accounting knowledge to assist the Investments department with financial projections, valuations and property transactions due diligence. She also assists the accounting department with various financial reporting functions. Finally, Karen is a founding member of the Company’s ESG Committee along with Board members of the Company.

Ms. Cusmano began her career with Mack-Cali in 2001. Prior to joining the Company, she was an accounting manager at The Gale Company in Florham Park, New Jersey, asset manager at DRA Advisors Inc., in New York, New York and financial services auditor at Kenneth Leventhal & Company in New York, New York.

Ms. Cusmano received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The State University of New York at Binghamton, and is a licensed CPA in the State of New York.
