Andrew Birkel is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in powertrain design and development. Currently serving as a Development Engineer at Mack Defense, LLC since August 2018, Andrew leads the design and integration of powertrains for tactical trucks. Previously, as a Project Engineer, Andrew managed component design and integration for the M917A3 Heavy Dump Truck. Andrew's career also includes a role as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., where Andrew designed power tools and oversaw production preparation in Taiwan. Prior experience includes positions at CNH Industrial, and Remington Arms Company, where Andrew focused on drivetrain systems and military components, respectively. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
