Michael Houk

Michael Houk is an experienced survey professional with a background in various surveying roles. Currently serving as Instrument Man II at Mackie Consultants, LLC since May 2022, Michael previously held positions at Helix Engineering LLC as a Surveyor and at K-Five Construction Corporation as a Level 1 Instrument Man Surveyor, where responsibilities included TOPOs, layout, striping, and grade checking primarily in rail yards across Cook, Will, and DuPage counties. Prior experience includes serving as a Rodman at Ardmore Roderick, performing similar tasks at notable locations such as O'Hare Airport. Michael is proficient in Leica GPS and total station technology and holds a high school diploma from Andrew High School, completed in January 2011.
