Amanda Robertson has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Amanda started their career in 2003 at The Salvation Army Employment Plus, where they worked as an Employment Consultant and Career Development Trainer & Facilitator until 2006. Amanda then joined Bendigo TAFE and served as a Sector Coordinator for Youth Pathways. Amanda held this position until 2010.
In 2010, Amanda joined GrainCorp as a Learning & Development Consultant and later became a Human Resources Business Partner Victoria until 2014.
From 2015 to 2018, Amanda worked at Public Transport Victoria as a Senior People & Culture Business Partner.
In 2018, they joined MacKillop Family Services as a Learning and Development Specialist and later took on the roles of Manager Ethos and Culture and Director Ethos and Culture.
In 2020, Amanda became a Board Director at Edmund Rice Community Services.
Amanda Robertson has a diverse education history. In 1986-1989, they attended the University of Adelaide, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Studies. In 2009, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Careers Education and Development at RMIT University. Amanda furthered their education in 2011-2012, earning a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Charles Sturt University. In 2014, Amanda obtained a TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from the Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE. In 2016, they acquired a Certificate of Accreditation in Culture Change - LSI/GSI Coaching from Human Synergistics Australia and New Zealand. Additionally, in 2018, they completed the Residential Care Project at Cornell University, specializing in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention - TCI Training.
Amanda also holds several additional certifications. In 2016, they became certified in Mental Health First Aid from Mental Health First Aid Australia. In the same year, they obtained accreditation as a Human Synergistics Life Styles Inventory Practitioner from Human Synergistics Australia & NZ. Most recently, in October 2022, Amanda's organization, MacKillop, became accredited by Rainbow Health Australia as a Rainbow Tick Accredited Organization.
