Dr Kelly Thompson

Dr. Kelly Thompson is a highly experienced clinical psychologist currently serving as a Principal Practitioner at MacKillop Family Services since November 2021. Previously, Dr. Thompson held various roles within the Department of Communities WA from February 2014 to November 2021, including Acting Director and Senior Clinical Psychologist, focusing on therapeutic support and staff education in residential care settings. Dr. Thompson has also worked as a clinical psychologist at Cygnet Clinic and maintained a private practice, specializing in attachment, trauma, parenting, and substance use. Dr. Thompson's educational background includes a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) and prior degrees in Psychology and Life and Physical Sciences from the University of Western Australia.
