Residential Care Worker at MacKillop Family Services

Teng Lee has a diverse work experience in the field of social services.

From July 2019 to the present, Teng worked at MacKillop Family Services as a Residential Care Worker, focusing on creating a safe and therapeutic environment for children and young people.

In 2018, Teng worked at Anglicare Victoria as a Residential Skills Coach, where they provided high-quality care to young people in a residential facility.

Teng also worked as a Residential Care Worker at Uniting Vic.Tas from July 2021 to June 2023.

Additionally, Teng has experience as a Disability Support Worker at Ability Assist, providing in-home and community-based support for clients with disabilities.

Prior to that, Teng worked at Inclusion Melbourne as a Direct Support Professional, promoting independence and dignity for people with disabilities through community integration and training.

During the same period at Kangan Institute, Teng Lee also obtained an Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management.

In 2019, Teng Lee studied at Melbourne Polytechnic, completing a Certificate IV in Children, Youth, Family & Intervention.

From 2019-2021, Teng Lee pursued a Bachelor's degree in Youth Work at Victoria University.

In 2022, Teng Lee attended The Gordon and obtained a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.

Lastly, from 2023-2024, Teng Lee studied at Chisholm Institute and earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

In addition to their formal education, Teng Lee also obtained multiple certifications, such as "Experiences of migrant workers in low and underpaid jobs" from ACOSS Australian Council of Social Service, "Making the law work for women" from the University of Technology Sydney, and "NDIS Clearance Check" from the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria, among others.
