Thambi Subra

Out Of Home Care at MacKillop Family Services

Thambi Subra started their work experience in 2012 as a Community Guide (Casual) at AMES Australia. They then became a Cultural Advisor (Contract) at The Salvation Army from December 2012 to February 2014. In 2014, Thambi joined Broadspectrum as a Recreation Officer, eventually taking on the role of Recreation Officer (Fly-In, Fly-Out), Asylum Seeker Welfare Services. They left Broadspectrum in 2018 and joined MacKillop Family Services as a Community Development Officer. Thambi's most recent role at MacKillop Family Services is as an Out of Home Care worker.

Thambi Subra has a diverse education history. In 2011, they completed a Food Safety course at Hospitality Training Australia. In 2012, they obtained a Certificate II in Security Operations from Austwide Institute of Training, a Certificate III in Home and Community Care from Victoria University, and a Certificate III in Aged Care, also from Victoria University. In 2013, they earned a Certificate III in Fitness from FIAFitnation and completed an Apply First Aid course through the Australian Red Cross. In 2015, they obtained a Diploma of Community Service Work from The Spectrum Organization Association Inc and a Certificate IV in Fitness from the Australian Fitness Academy. In 2018, they completed a course in IV disability work at The spcturam organization. Finally, in 2019, they pursued a CHC40313 Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention at Melbourne Polytechnic, specializing in Family and Community Services.
