Mark Owen

Mark Owen is an experienced commercial and financial professional with a diverse background in various roles within the mining and construction industries. Currently serving as Commercial Superintendent at Macmahon since August 2022, Mark has held positions such as Specialist Accountant at Golding and Plant Accountant at NRW Civil & Mining. Prior roles include Financial Controller at SDV Longwall Support and Commercial Superintendent at Peabody Energy, among others. With a strong foundation in financial management, budgeting, variance analysis, and contract management, Mark has developed a comprehensive skill set over a career beginning in 1983 as a Relationship Manager at Westpac Bank. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Queensland and is a CPA member.
