John Hoyos

John Hoyos has over 25 years of work experience spanning various industries. John is currently the Chief Operating Officer of MacguyverTech and was previously the Chief Operating Officer of MacNerd. Prior to these roles, they were a Consultant and Owner at CiderLikeWine Consulting. John has also held leadership positions in media and beverage industries, including Editor-in-Chief at Dealer News Today, Specialty Brand Manager at Hunterdon Brewing Co, Beer Manager at Queen Anne Wine & Spirits, and Media Relations Intern at Newark Bears Baseball. Additionally, they held various sales support positions at NATIONAL CABLE COMMUNICATIONS, LLC, with their longest role being as Sports Sales Planner. John began their career as an Account Executive at UNIVERSAL MICROELECTRONICS CO.,LTD and later served as an Account Manager at SCC Distribution.

John Hoyos earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from Rowan University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. John then pursued their Master of Business Administration in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management at Seton Hall University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007.
