Jeffrey Steele

Jeffrey Steele has been working as an employment lawyer since 2007. Jeffrey is currently the General Counsel at Macomb Community College. Jeffrey has represented employers in state and federal court cases involving discrimination, wrongful discharge, First Amendment retaliation, and other employment-related issues. Jeffrey has also created and revised employment policies, including employee handbooks, non-competition agreements, confidentiality agreements, non-solicitation agreements, anti-harassment policies, management manuals, independent contractor agreements, and employment applications. In addition to their work as an attorney, Jeffrey Steele has also taught continuing education courses to Michigan employment lawyers on recent developments in employment law.

Jeffrey Steele attended John Carroll University, where they studied Policital Science/Communications and earned their BA. Jeffrey then went on to study Law at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and earn their JD.
