Emily Halstead

Emily Halstead is an experienced professional in institutional giving and development, currently serving as the Institutional Giving Officer at the MacPhail Center for Music since March 2023. Previously, Emily held roles such as Grants Manager and External Relations Director at Park Square Theatre, and Director of Development and Communications at Joyce Preschool. With a diverse background that includes senior management positions in sponsorships, events, and corporate relations at Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest, as well as event planning and graphic design as the owner of Juniper Lane Event and Design Studio, Emily has demonstrated expertise in nonprofit marketing and communications. Emily's earlier experience includes roles in marketing coordination at Urban Homeworks, graphic design at The Blank Park Zoo, and communications management at St. James' Episcopal School. Emily holds a BFA in Graphic Design from The University of Kansas, with minors in Art History and Dance.
