Gourang Agrawal

Gourang Agrawal is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in equity finance and structured finance. Currently serving as the Head of Equity Finance Europe at Macquarie Group since May 2018, Gourang oversees prime financing, secured financing, and equity trading. Prior to this role, Gourang worked at Credit Suisse from November 2012 to November 2017 as a Director in Global Markets, focusing on liquidity and balance sheet management, regulatory capital management, and custom financing solutions. Gourang's career also includes a tenure at Barclays Capital from June 2001 to August 2010, where responsibilities included structured finance, tax optimization, and asset restructuring. Gourang holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, earned between 1999 and 2001.
