John Stowe

John Stowe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and operations within the financial services sector. Currently serving as the COO for the Americas and Senior Managing Director of the Technology Division at Macquarie Group since May 2008, John leads Macquarie Asset Management Technology. Prior to this role, John was a consultant at HSBC, where responsibility included initiating a $10 million change project for global market data and pricing services. Previous positions also include consultancy roles at AEGON Asset Management, project management at JP Morgan, work in equity derivatives IT at DLJ, and a managerial position at Deloitte & Touche. John holds a B.Com Hons from the University of Cape Town and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
