Philip Coffey

Independent Voting Director at Macquarie Group

Philip Coffey is the current Independent Voting Director at Macquarie Group. Prior to this, they were a Project Manager at ANZ from June 2013 to April 2014, working on the OTC Reform Program. Philip has also worked as a Project Manager at Coffey International Ltd from March 2013 to May 2013, and as Head of Equities Technology, Australia at Royal Bank of Scotland from March 2009 to December 2012, where they were responsible for key technology deployment and change programs impacting the AU Equities Business. From February 2006 to March 2009, they worked as IT Relationship Manager: Global Markets - Equities, ECM, M&A at ABN Amro. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager at GBST from March 2004 to February 2006, working on retail front office products. Philip Coffey has also worked as Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young from January 1992 to December 1996, and as Design Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover from January 1988 to December 1992.

Philip Coffey has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Bath and is also a Chartered Accountant from ICAEW.
