Brendon Nom Chong

Brendon Nom Chong is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications and network security fields, currently serving as a Core Network & Security Architect and previously as a Network Security Engineer at Macquarie Telecom Group since July 2020. Brendon has extensive experience as an Instructor/Consultant at Crystal Echo from July 2013 to June 2020, and held various roles, including Global Customer Support Engineer and Carrier IP Support Engineer at Nokia Siemens Networks from May 2006 to June 2013. Earlier in the career, Brendon worked as a Carrier IP Engineer at Telstra and began a professional journey as a Salesman at Bing Lee Electrics from 1999 to 2009. Brendon holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Sydney, completed from 2001 to 2005, following education at Freeman Catholic High School.
