Shaun Domingo

Shaun Domingo has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Shaun is currently employed as the Chief Technology Officer for Macquarie Cloud Services, where they lead a team of experts focused on delivering hybrid cloud solutions for business customers. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Technology - Azure & Online at Macquarie Cloud Services, where they managed and operated highly certified data centers and offered various cloud services. Shaun also worked as the Head of Online Systems at Macquarie Cloud Services and as a Program Manager for Web at Macquarie Technology Group.

Before joining Macquarie, they held positions at Ninefold as the Head of Technology and Operations and Software Development Manager, where they set business goals and objectives, managed operations, and implemented technology choices. Shaun also worked at Hyro as a Technical Manager and Technical Lead, overseeing project delivery and providing technical leadership.

Shaun has prior experience at Optus, where they worked as a Technical Lead and Solution Designer/Programmer, leading the development of CMS/Portal platforms and providing technical support for financial and corporate applications. Shaun also has previous work experience at Advanced Stocktaking Services and gained professional experience at IBM Global Services Australia and Wollongong University, working on various projects.

Throughout their career, Shaun has showcased their expertise in areas such as cloud services, technology leadership, program management, and solution design.

Shaun Domingo graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology, specializing in Network Management. During their time at the university, they focused on various aspects of computing, information technology, programming, web development, and network management. Prior to attending university, Shaun attended East Hills Boys Technology High School from 1995 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Shaun has obtained several certifications. In 2020, they earned the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft. In 2022, they obtained the Customer Service Foundations, Empathy for Customer Service Professionals, and MCS Customer Service and Empathy Foundations certifications from LinkedIn. Most recently, in 2023, Shaun obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft.
