Peter Dahl Thruelsen

Peter Dahl Thruelsen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in defense and advisory roles. Currently serving as Managing Director at Macro Advisory Partners and Partner at Rethink Advisory, Thruelsen has held key positions such as Director of Defence at Navigate Public Affairs and Dean at Forsvarsakademiet. Notably, Thruelsen was the Director of the Ministerial Advisory Division at NATO Mission Iraq, overseeing all NATO advisors to the Iraqi Ministry of Defence. With a military background as an NCO Sergeant First Class in the Danish army, Thruelsen brings a wealth of knowledge in areas such as peacekeeping, security sector reform, and analysis of great power politics. Thruelsen earned a cand.scient.pol. in Political Science and a PhD in Nation-building from the University of Copenhagen.
