Stephen G. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Stephen began their career as an Intern at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in 2005, where they gained early industry exposure. In 2007, they interned at QD Vision, Inc. as a Device Group Intern, contributing to the development of devices. Stephen then worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Optics Lab Technician at the Northeastern University Optical Science Laboratory from 2005 to 2008. During this time, they gained valuable experience in research and laboratory work.
In 2008, Stephen joined Raytheon (formerly BBN) as a Development Intern, before transitioning to a role as a Research Assistant at MIT. At MIT, they worked on various research projects between 2008 and 2015, showcasing their dedication and commitment to scientific inquiry.
Stephen then moved to Creative Micro Corporation in 2015, where they contributed as a Senior Scientist before being promoted to VP of Engineering in 2018. Stephen played a pivotal role in leading engineering efforts and shaping the company's technological direction until their departure in 2020.
Since 2020, Stephen has been working at MACRO-EYES. Stephen initially served as an Engineering Lead, National Security, before assuming the position of Principal Engineer in May 2022. Stephen's expertise and leadership in engineering continue to drive impactful contributions to the company.
Stephen G. completed their education in the field of electrical engineering. Stephen began their academic journey in 2003 at Northeastern University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2008. Stephen then furthered their studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from 2008 to 2011. Continuing their education at MIT, they went on to complete a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from 2008 to 2015.
