Vincent Njonge

Vincent Njonge has a diverse work experience in machine learning engineering, data analysis, and mentoring. In 2022, they worked as a Junior Machine Learning Engineer at MACRO-EYES. Prior to that, they were a Data Analyst at the same company from September 2022 to February 2023. Before joining MACRO-EYES, Vincent worked as a Junior Data Analyst from March 2022 to August 2022. In 2021, they served as a Python, Data Science, and Machine Learning Mentor, providing guidance and hands-on coding assistance to individuals learning Python programming for data science and machine learning. Vincent also has experience as a Competitions Data Scientist at Zindi starting from April 2020. Vincent has worked as a Freelance Data Analyst, conducting extensive data analysis, visualization, and modeling, and building predictive pipelines. Additionally, Vincent worked as a Junior Machine Learning Engineer at Omdena in 2020, developing AI technology to analyze and understand the sentiments and aspirations of young people.

Vincent Njonge completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science with a specialization in Pure Mathematics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Vincent attended this university from 2017 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Vincent obtained several certifications. In July 2020, they completed the "Data Analysis with Python," "Data Science," "Supervised Learning with Scikit-Learn," and "Unsupervised Learning in Python" certifications from DataCamp. Vincent also obtained the "AWS Machine Learning fundamentals" certification from Udacity in June 2020.

Furthermore, Vincent acquired the "Advanced SQL" certification from Kaggle in May 2020 and the "Introduction to SQL" certification from Kaggle in August 2019.
