Matthew Bates is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in healthcare application development and product management. Currently serving as Vice President of R&D and IT at Macro Helix LLC since April 2019, Matthew has previously held senior leadership roles at Craneware and RelayHealth, focusing on product development and analytics. As a co-founder and senior engineer at SipStorm, Inc., and through various engineering and architectural positions at notable firms including Z-Tel Communications and Sapient Corporation, Matthew has consistently demonstrated a strong passion for innovating solutions that enhance healthcare services. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Loyola University New Orleans, earned between 1991 and 1995.
