Katherine Krantz has extensive work experience in the financial industry, specializing in macroeconomic analysis and investment strategy. Katherine is currently the CEO of Macro Specialist Designation, a study program aimed at helping financial professionals understand the impact of macro trends on equity markets. Prior to that, they worked as the CEO of Trahan Macro Research, a boutique research firm focused on portfolio strategy and quantitative research. Katherine also has experience as a Values-Based Future Coach and was the Managing Director at UBS, where they led the US Equity Portfolio Strategy team and promoted financial literacy for women. Katherine served as the Chief Operating Officer at Eurasia Group, managing operations and business development for their innovative platform. Katherine also worked at Cornerstone Macro LP as a Macro Strategy Analyst, focusing on marketing macroeconomic research and identifying risks in client portfolios. Before that, they co-founded and grew Miracle Mile Advisors, LLC, a registered investment advisor that experienced significant growth during the 2008 financial crisis. Katherine also held prominent roles at AIG SunAmerica, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, and AXA Investment Managers. Katherine Krantz obtained a BA in Economics/Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences from Northwestern University in 1994. Subsequently, they pursued an MA in Economics, with a focus on Econometrics and Industrial Organization, at McGill University, completing it in 1996. In terms of additional certifications, Katherine is currently pursuing a certification in Behavioral Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education, with an expected completion date in 2023.
