Sales Leader – Mid-Market and Enterprise Software Teams
Location: United States (Remote with Travel as Needed)
Base Salary: $250,000 - $300,000

We are seeking an exceptional Sales Leader to build, lead, and scale high-performing sales teams for both mid-market and enterprise segments across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
o Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier sales talent for separate mid-market and enterprise software sales teams.
o Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
o Provide mentorship and development opportunities to enable teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
o Define and implement distinct sales strategies for the mid-market and enterprise segments, tailored to their unique needs and buying processes.
o Establish clear performance metrics and benchmarks.
o Continuously optimize the sales process to improve efficiency and win rates.
o Drive aggressive revenue growth for both mid-market and enterprise segments.
o Own the sales forecast and ensure consistent achievement of revenue goals.
o Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts and maximize outcomes.
o Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
o Drive market share expansion through strategic account acquisition and retention.
o Develop strong relationships with key customers and partners.
o Leverage data and analytics to monitor team performance and adjust strategies as needed.
o Implement CRM best practices to ensure accurate reporting and pipeline management.
o Manage budgets effectively to maximize ROI.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
· A minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years managing and scaling successful sales teams.
· Proven experience building and managing high-performing software sales teams in both mid-market and enterprise segments.
· A track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a SaaS or software environment.
· Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
· Strong understanding of the U.S. software sales landscape, including customer buying behavior and competitive dynamics.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
· Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.
· Ability to manage complexity and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
What You’ll Bring
· Experience scaling sales teams in a high-growth environment.
· Industry knowledge in economic and financial research is an advantage but not required.
· Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as Challenger, MEDDIC, or Sandler.
