Patrick Kaminker

Patrick Kaminker has a strong background in the field of biology and oncology research. Patrick currently works at MacroGenics, Inc. as the Director of Translational Biology since October 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Associate Director of Oncology at Zymeworks Inc. from May 2016 to October 2019. Patrick also worked at AbbVie as a Principal Research Scientist from March 2013 to May 2016. Previously, they held roles as a Senior Scientist at Human Genome Sciences acquired by GlaxoSmithKline from January 2008 to February 2013, as well as at Celera Corporation from November 2005 to January 2008. Patrick started their professional career as a Staff Scientist at Buck Institute for Age Research from May 2002 to November 2005 and as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Labs from July 1998 to May 2002.

Patrick Kaminker began their education at the University of Rochester in 1986; however, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period. From 1987 to 2000, they attended the University of Florida, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology. Following this, they pursued their further education at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine from 1992 to 1998, earning a PhD degree in Pharmacology with a specialization in Neurobiology of Aging.
