Terence Coughlin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Terence's early career was at NYSDOT, where they worked from 1992 to 2000 in various project management roles. Notably, they served as a Project Manager overseeing the Department's intranet and public websites as well as managing the Year 2000 project.

Terence Coughlin completed their education in Industrial Engineering at the University at Buffalo. Terence obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering from 1987 to 1991. Following this, they pursued a Masters in Engineering in Industrial Engineering from 1991 to 1992, also at the University at Buffalo.
In addition to their formal education, Terence Coughlin has obtained certifications in "Holding Your Team Accountable" and "Managing Experts" from LinkedIn. Terence received these certifications in March 2020.
