Dmytro Lazarenko

Dmytro Lazarenko has a diverse work experience that spans over multiple roles and companies. Dmytro is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Macrometa, starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked at HERE Technologies from 2019 to 2021, where they held various roles including Senior Data Engineer and Senior Scala/Java Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for developing and designing real-time applications based on technologies such as Flink, Kafka, and Scala. Dmytro also contributed to the design and implementation of a Spark Connector for handling BigData operations in Spark.

Before joining HERE Technologies, Lazarenko worked at Micro Focus from 2016 to 2019 as a Senior Java/JS Developer. In this role, they focused on developing and upgrading RestAPI and web UI features. Dmytro also played a key role in improving security by fixing vulnerabilities based on OWASP methodology and increasing automation testing coverage.

Dmytro Lazarenko obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer modeling of physical processes from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' from 2004 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, they earned a certification in Technical Strategy from Reforge in 2021.
